Give Matt A Tip
This video is different than what we typically do at “FreeVoice,” but I was having a hard time talking today and I had put this aside to show you a few weeks ago. Because of the recent copyright strike on YouTube, I can’t take the risk of showing any video there for a long time until the strike clears. (In the past, they would simply “remove the video” and there was no penalty for using a small bit of copyrighted material.) I enjoy these sorts of glimpses into the old word and I think you will too. Anyone under age 30 has no idea what the old world, and the old reality was like. Those under the age of 40 would only have a vague recollection of how different everything was. – Matt
Love you Matt! I hope you are feeling better. This video was awesome. None of them are wearing safety vests, no hard hats, no nothin! It always makes me laugh when people wear all these safety vests. Don’t they realize that once everyone is wearing them, they don’t mean anything anymore, because we get habituated to them and just ignore them? Same thing with cones and flashing lights on the road. I just ignore them now. Half the time they are just sitting there from last month’s construction.
I always forget ’bout this Freevoice. Thanks for posting the link and reminder on You tube, that helps to get me over here. There is no way in Hell that the tower or any of those other massive structures was built in the 1800’s. We have lots of old world structures like that and more here in our young country USA. No way was any of it built by the humans of that era. Its sad they are tearing it all down, but no one knows what it is, nor do they care to know, so down it goes. Constructed by someone unknown in the past only for someone wearing a tool belt from the future to tear it down. Sad indeed, I guess that’s what this reality has to do to keep the illusion.
They don’t make men like that anymore. And what a tragedy. I remember the 70’s well, bell bottoms, cigarettes were good for you and five zillion laws and retarded regulations had barely been thought of. Oh take me back!!! Big blessings Matt and may you heal swiftly. Me thinks you are one of those men.
They do… they just brainwash the heck into em’ nowadays, and the downward spiral of not having true strong alpha fathers continues!!! Hehehe much love n respects.
Glad your feeling better, I had some amazing bouts with clots in my calf and quad a few years back when I had my heal shaved and my Achilles repaired and reattached, no weight bearing on that leg for 12-ish weeks. I hope that you get a handle on what exactly caused those clots and are able to enjoy each amazing moment that we are gifted with here. Blessings and of course armor always on my brother.
I first thought this was a documentary I saw long ago but it was different; In the one I saw also 70s/80s feel; one old man was breaking the smokestacks slowly from the top down with a rat-ass wooden platform, smashing out bricks underfoot a layer at a time for days while the platform lowered. Wearing hard shoes and a brown blazer, lol

OK just finished with that ladder climb and I damn near got dizzy watching it! Fun fact, my deceased dad’s second wife had a grandpa that cleaned sky exterior windows on scrappers in NYC free climbing no ropes etc, they called him “the human fly”. Different resolve back when? Blessings all.
That’s cool, I love hearing stuff like this, we are a dying breed , my boss and I climb and cut down 100 ft + dangerous dead trees and repell down small buildings in D.C. for windows, and we do snow plowing as well and repell down local DMV cliffs for fun… gotta do “the work” physically and mentally here on this plane”” of existence. Much love n respects.
the english- so weird, so cute, so ridiculous (the bobby hats, one of many examples, the over-the-top accents too; some of the english can’t even speak english!)
and they took over the world for a decently long spell
and the ‘mericans significantly derived from them
i like the english ok (and lived in england for a few years) but i will take the ‘mericans any day (and they are plenty weird too)
that is to say, hobbits!
great footage, matt
thank you
yes, when men were men
precious few left; c’mon guys, let’s do better
i don’t see any conflict between inherited structures and fake reality
what you call fake reality, i call the reality of necessity; things are this way because there is no other way they.can be, and we are the ones responsible for it
Yep, not an inherited building, rather it was created just as part of the ‘movie’ which is my life, my reality.
Old Fred had his own TV series for a while. A brave man, doing stuff the health and safety people would faint at today. Anyway, his accent was northern England, Lancashire I think. Us cockeys are from certain parts of London down south. Glad to see you back, wishing you well!
Right on Matt !!! Do what it takes to suffer… then overcome the suffering, then overcome the world.
He climbed that being a chain smoker! Amazing.
That was so fascinating and entertaining, I couldn’t help but smile through the whole video. I am glad you are on the mend and Thanks again for a worthy watch.
Omg when I saw that ladder go out I got dizzy. This is beyond a real man. This guy has ba@#$ of steel!
Fred was a class act over here, still using techniques which have long gone. The introduction of the new world order with health and safety measures has ended all that. The only problem with him is he helped destroy the old World which we didn’t realise at the time and neither did he. We have many many dialects over here from each region of the Country which makes it (or did) a very interesting Country. The only way I can describe it to you is that when we hear a Canadian speak most of us English usually jump to the conclusion they are American the same way as you label all us as Cockney’s or Brummie’s . Not sure that helps, but keep them coming Matt.
Awesome. As different from us as green aliens.
Amazing Im watching more videos very addicting 😍
In the 1970s – I just don’t recall the levels of stress and oppression we have today. It’s a combination of factors. “Progress” is not progress maybe?
