It’s been about a year since I looked closely at the situation in Ukraine. The war is even stranger today than when it began in 2022. Everything about it is devoid of logic and common sense. Reports on the front lines talk about “trench warfare” like the year is 1916, and we’re in the middle of WW1. Why don’t the Russians use the hundreds of SU-27 and MIG-29 supersonic fighter and bomber aircraft on the Ukrainian trenches? The Ukraine fights back with “Radio Shack” plastic drones. If Zelensky actually goes into the auto parts business, giving up acting, I will shut the channel down and apply for a job at SpaceX.

As an American who is part Ukrainian, it continues to be completely disheartening to me how many “Western Europeans” have this openly disdainful view of Ukrainian people. I very much see this as a perfect example of why, in a few generations, our race will no longer be reproducing itself.
There is no cohesive unity within our race. Also, I have read enough comments at the History Debunked YouTube channel over the years to know many Brits (real Brits, not brown “hoards”) have your same perspective and see Eastern Europeans as inferior. I will absolutely assume if it were Poles, you’d refer to them as Polish hoards.

My mothers side is Ukrainian and I rode my motorbike through last year…..the general consensus I found was they were duped by Zelenskyy due to the Netflix propaganda series/spyOp and regretted it within 6 months. Matt, here’s something odd about China that no one talks about that could be a reality breakdown. If you go to China in real life, you will see that it is much much NICER and BETTER than what Americans imagine. I’m Ukrainian, I live in the US. My family lives in Kyiv, Ukraine ( It used to be called Kiev because it was a Russian transliteration, while Kyiv is a Ukrianian transliteration). I started watching Matt’s channel during the pandemic, as I was one of the people who was shocked by the wierd unreality of what was happening…I was born and raised in Kyiv, I visited it last time in 2017. Kyiv is a real city, it is a place of power in Castanedan terms, it has a unique atmosphere and energy that I haven’t felt anywhere else. It has life and feels alive. I visited Ukraine this past summer (yes you can travel there by train and bus and it takes a long time, while before the war you could fly in and out of Kyiv to any European city in 2-3 hours, I had done it too, and it was real) and met up with my family in Lviv in western Ukraine. Kyiv is real. Ukraine is real. I am real. My family is real. Prior to immigrating to the US I worked on television and personally met a lot of people who were celebrities at the time and who are even bigger celebrities in Ukraine now. I see them on TV and I had seen them in person. I saw Bill Clinton, his wife Hillary and a dog with bodyguards while on a walk in New York state. They were all real people. …My family lives now in very bad conditions, often without electicity, they witness air defence systems firing, fighter jets fights, hear explosions, they saw russian tanks, and some family members escaped from russian occupation, and to them too it all seemed unreal in the beginning. But it’s real. The wounded and killed in this war are real. The destruction is real. Despite this war having no logic. BTW, the billions of dollars Ukraine has been getting comes in the form of outdated (1970s and 1980s) American weapons or defence systems that the US no longer intended to use, the military help comes in small numbers and is not sufficient. It also comes in the form of artillery shells made in Pennsylvania by the way, and it provides jobs and real salaries for Americans. President Zelensky, (whom I couldn’t stand before the war and my family didn’t vote for him, but has earned our respect since then), visited that plant in Pennsylvania, maybe Matt can go there and interview people who work there. ..,If there was a conspiracy, myself as well as my Ukrainian family and friends agree that there seems to be an interest in prolonging this war and this interest doesn’t come from Ukraine, but from its western “allies”. I personally know families who lost children in this war. I saw soldiers without limbs while I visited Ukraine. I saw power plants destroyed and blackened by explosions. I didn’t go into the war zone, sorry, but you don’t have to be killed or maimed in a car accident to proof that people can die in car accidents or that car accidents exists even if you haven’t been in a real bad one…. If you’ve never been outside of the US and get your information from TV or youtube, many things might seem fake to you because you have no proof they exist. Maybe reality constructs all these things as you go exploring it on foot, nevertheless they become real when you witness them personally. I think Matt needs to revise his theory, which is very interesting and definitely rings true. But some things in his view like for instance his view on Ukraine and the war just shows holes and weakness in his theory. You can argue of course that I’m not real, and I can argue that Matt is also not real since he’s part of my “screen”, but here lies something worth exploring further.
