Hubs n I own a plumbing n gas company. Hubs has 43 yrs experience. We lived in Maryland for a few years back in the 00’s, and ‘they’ cleared some blocks with ‘gas explosions’ while we lived there. Hubs told me that if it was a legit gas leak, the amount of gas that would have to have accumulated was so large, that the occupants of the buildings would have suffocated long before any explosion. Not to mention that odors are added to the gas to make it smell bad and to be instantly identifiable. So the occupants would have had to smell a very unpleasant odor for hours, plus had serious trouble breathing, before the explosion occurred. He believed it was done on purpose 25 yrs ago, and he still isn’t a conspiracy theorist. Once he drove into a neighborhood, smelled gas in a cul de sac, and turned it off in less than a minute. He has driven past water breaks and also turned the water off at the source in minutes. Wonder how many times he’s foiled someone’s plan.
