definitionally, we know that heart refers to center
for example, heartwood is the wood in the middle of the tree

since you mention the hands reaching in represent innumerable hands from the minions, the million and one distractions and devices to lure us away from heart center (or trying to reach in to our heart center), i keep seeing the tentacles of anemone
the anemone is nearly entirely tentacles, each with a poisonous sting
anemones reach out, while the ‘arms’ or tentacles of the minions reach in
this is typical of the minion faction with their devices, to reverse what is natural
also, a hand is kinda personal; we have hands and they reach out, to connect and explore
i like that anemone tentacles are rather impersonal, all alike, faceless and their significance is the sting that they deliver
my feeling is that no minion tentacle or hand can reach in to my heart center
the bread and circus techniques of the minion faction must call us to them, ‘come hither’
they are so flimsy compared to us, that is all they are capable of
so long as we are true to our heart, with our feet on the ground, we are untouchable by the flickery cinematic minion things
